Fahim Youssofzai is an associate professor with the Department of Management at the Royal Military College of Canada, where he teaches strategic management, organizational theory, and international management. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the HEC-Montreal and a MSc in economics from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). His primary field of research is the strategic management and performance of organizational systems, particularly in the areas of nonprofit organizations, post-conflict reconstruction and development. From 1980 to 2001, Dr. Youssofzai worked (and completed field research) with organizations such as the United Way of Montreal, Roche Molecular Biochemical Canada, and several UN agencies and NGOs. He has also conducted numerous humanitarian missions, with leading European and Canadian NGOs, to Afghanistan.
