Social Sciences and Humanites Research Committee

The Colloquium offers professors in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities an opportunity to share their research with their colleagues, and occasionally with their students, in the form of an interdisciplinary, bilingual, scholarly conversation. Supported by the Dean of Arts and the VP Research, the Colloquium has been running since 2005, with presentations typically in late October and late February. Presenters are granted a research stipend of $200 for their efforts and, along with commendation from their peers, a commemorative plaque.
